Addressing the Shortage of Specially Trained Educators
The lack of trained teachers for visually impaired and multiply disabled individuals posed significant challenges to their education and career growth. To bridge this gap, NAB initiated specialized teacher training programs.
Recognized Certification and Training Programs
The D.Ed. S.E. (V.I.) and B.Ed. S.E. (V.I.) courses are conducted under the guidance of the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi, and in collaboration with Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik. These programs equip aspiring educators with the skills needed to teach visually impaired students effectively.
Successful Graduates and Employment Opportunities
Over five successive batches, all enrolled students have successfully completed their training and secured employment, contributing to inclusive education and empowerment of visually impaired learners.
